Ceramic Conveyor Drum

Ceramic rubber pulleys belong to material conveying equipment - rollers on belt conveyors. This drum consists of a metal based cylinder and a rubber cylinder, with the rubber cylinder wrapped around the metal based cylinder. The outer surface of the rubber cylinder is embedded with wear-resistant ceramic sheets. The surface of the wear-resistant ceramic piece embedded on the rubber cylinder has granular protrusions that increase friction.

The ceramic tiles are of regular or/and irregular shapes; The ceramic tiles embedded on the outer surface of the rubber cylinder are in a uniform or/and non-uniform state.

The base material of the belt driven drum is composed of steel, and wear problems generally only occur on the surface and local areas of the parts. Therefore, adopting surface protection measures to control and delay surface damage has become the main way to solve wear problems. Firstly, choose a material with high wear resistance to perform wear-resistant treatment on the surface of the equipment.

Secondly, consider the hardness of the material and also pay attention to its toughness. Theoretical studies have shown that in fatigue wear, the elastic modulus of materials also becomes one of the main factors affecting their wear resistance.

(1) Adopting the casting diamond shaped rubber process, a layer of wear-resistant rubber is compounded on the surface of the drum for anti-wear treatment. Utilize the wear resistance and high toughness of rubber for wear prevention.

(2) Using rubber/ceramic composite lining process, rubber/ceramic composite lining is compounded on the surface of the drum for wear resistance, combined with the wear resistance, high hardness of ceramics and high toughness of rubber for wear resistance
